C a s a n o v a   B o o k The Casanova Story is a book of our Georis family memoirs and recipes beginning in Belgium during World War II, continuing with our immigration to America in the 1950s, and eventually culminating with the restaurant you know today as Casanova. The book is being written by Linda Holland from many hours of taped interviews. There are three parts to the Casanova book; each part is told in the voice of a Georis family member: Denise's Story - Struggling to survive World War II as our village was caught in the middle of the Battle of the Bulge. Gaston's Story - Rebuilding our life in Belgium following the war and moving to America after Denise married an American GI. Walter's Story - Making our American dreams come true - through our music, art, wine and food - and our return to our European heritage. Check back soon for our upcoming book release!
